The Blog Where I Shock The Monkey & Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Earlier tonight I heard both of those songs on the same radio station within a few minutes of each other, so I figured that would make an appropriate title as I can't think of anything else to use for a title. I feel dead tired now (the lack of sleep the past few days has caught up with me; the pills I am taking probably doesn't help there either) so that is why this is going up later than I had planned in the evening.

There isn't too much to say before today that I did not say in the blog I posted yesterday. Monday through Thursday were rather dull; I mean, the most noteworthy thing that comes to mind is me going to McDonalds one night to get dinner. Yeah, really. If I can't remember anything else then it must not have been important. Friday, that's when I went to Downtown Disney to the giant screen they have at the AMC Theatres there to watch Jurassic Park in 3D. Like I said yesterday, I enjoyed it back then and I still enjoyed it in 2013. The sequels, I don't feel the same way about. Saturday night, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch some college basketball and have dinner there. I also know that Batch 19 (from Coors) is good, and so is Budweiser Black Crown.

Last night I just stayed home and watched random TV, including halfway paying attention to the NCAA basketball championship, as there wasn't much else on. So let me talk about today and visiting that dental specialist. There was no root canal; at the moment that is scheduled for next Tuesday, so next Tuesday night I'll post my next blog to talk about that experience. All that happened today was that I gave that office my information, they took some x-rays, then the pus that I had built up was drained. I'll spare the details on the last part as I know it is pretty gross. The cost of that was more than expected, and boy was I shocked when I saw what the root canal would cost. It's a lot of money! At least I did get a bag full of free crap, including a t-shirt. On the back it has in camouflage colors, “I survived a root canal”, making it sound like the experience is similar to surviving boot camp. That does not improve my enthusiasm in having to have that procedure done. At least the swelling has gone down and it doesn't even hurt too much anymore. If I wasn't so exhausted I'd almost feel alright.

Like I said, I'll be back a week from today. It will likely be a not so long blog as I'll likely lay pretty low for the most part while I am dealing with that issue.
