Internet White Knights, Cold Stone Clusterf***s, and 19 BIBLES

So, here's what I've done the past week. It was certainly less exciting than the week I had before.

I actually did something on Monday the 13th that I did not talk about when I posted my blog on the 14th, mainly because I wanted to save something to write about here. For the last time in awhile I took that SUV and the bike and biked on the James A. Van Fleet State Trail. I returned to the trail head that's off of Bay Lake Road and this time went south on the trail. I unfortunately did not see too much wildlife aside from various birds flying and sitting about. It was still a nice thing to do; I just think that due to various circumstances it'll be some time before I'm able to do something like that again.

Tuesday was dull so I'll go to Wednesday. The only interesting thing to mention there is that I got mad at some people on Facebook. Someone I know who's a local wrestler (and also a male) out of nowhere posted a rant about how women should not wrestle in the ring and instead just be sex objects as valets outside of the ring. Yeah, this upcoming Saturday is a big wrestling show in Orlando so as stupid as this may sound I would not be shocked at all if he shot off his mouth as a bizarre sort of angle where at his show he will wrestle a woman; how doing that sort of thing on a Facebook page will get more people to the show is beyond my comprehension, but that subhuman 10 pounds of monkey crap in a 5 pound bad known as Jared David St. Laurent does this sort of thing all the time and even though it usually leads to a negative affect and effect on attendance, it still happens.

Anyhow, no matter the explanation for his inane rant a random woman responded and defended the right for ladies to wrestle. Sure, she called him an A-hole but I had no problem with that as I thought the same thing! Her response brought on a torrent of replies that just left me shaking my head in shame. They were defending their pal but came off as real horse's asses AND freshmen in high school! They made many cracks about her cooking and cleaning and some went either further, saying with no evidence that she was a “pill popper” and a “bitch”. Charming. I am glad I defended her in that post with many replies and I am so happy I am not a He-Man macho type who thinks acting that way to a random girl is appropriate. Ladies, you'll never see me act like that! I'm not even trying to be an Internet White Knight there, where I defend a lady online in order to try and get brownie points. I am genuine when I say I thought their behavior was just dumb at best and offensive at worst.

Thursday's highlight was going to Wal-Mart for some minor items and Friday the only reason I went out was that my car was filthy so even though it was overcast on that day I went and got gas at a Hess station and used their car wash. I know, it was that kind of dull week when I have to talk about getting a car wash. I did find quite the steal in their bargain bin/used bin at Wal-Mart, though. It's Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. The PS2 version has 8 games but the game on newer systems has a few more than that; as it was made a few years ago and not a lot of copies are printed, it'll probably be difficult to find. I knew about it from the love a gaming podcast I listen to has given it in the past. After playing it, it's pretty awesome to play real pinball games from the past in a virtual manner, and finding it for 10 bucks used at Wal-Mart was quite unexpected.

Speaking of pinball, just yesterday the dude who did such things as place the flippers at the bottom of the board passed away at the age of 100. There's some trivia for you. Where was I... oh yeah...

At least on Saturday I went to the Winter Garden Village area. I was thinking of going there on Sunday but then I looked online and saw that the weather for that day was looking to be poor with wind and rain and even a thunderstorm () so that's why at the last minute I decided to take that short journey. I went to Best Buy and then the nearby Super Target; someone I know wanted me to be on the lookout for something, and I also browsed around aimlessly. Neither place had the item in question but I did get a random DVD from Best Buy.

After that I went to Cold Stone Creamery as I hadn't been there in awhile. Unfortunately, the next time I go to one it may be awhile and it likely will be at another location. At least at that place even they have gotten on the make it yourself yogurt trend. There's a whole plethora of different yogurt stores where you get a cup and pour out how much yogurt you want and then you can put any toppings you want on it and the price is based on how much it weighs. There are so many of those places around; it's a fad and you know not many of those stores will be around for too long. Because they've gotten on that bandwagon that store is real cramped and it's such a clusterf*** between people ordering ice cream and other people getting their own yogurt, I MAY have inadvertently cut in line to get ice cream! The fact that I don't know for certain shows you how much of a mess it was. It was a real turnoff and as it was as busy as you'd expect for the night, I ate part of the treat in my car and had the rest at home. It's a shame I had that issue as I've always had delicious treats there, and the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection I had on this night was... well, perfect!

My Sunday was nothing-happening so instead I'll mention a spam e-mail I got on my Yahoo account. Its title was 19 BIBLES; that got my attention so I opened it, and what a message I got:

Dear Beloveth in Christ,

We are in need of 19 Giant Print Bibles and I also appeal for you to help me with a Study Bible my dear Brethren. And I pray that God Almighty will provide sothat you can send us these Bibles soon. We are believing God that you will come visiting us in the near future.

Thanks and God Bless you. My regards to your blessed family. Kindly respond soon beloveth.

Wining Souls For Christ,

Pastor Houssami Louai BurhanOkigbelugbo Christian Church69, Okigbelugbo Street, GOP-Iwiegbe 8950,Benin City,Edo State,Nigeria.

Certainly it's different from the usual Nigerian e-mail scam.

I'll be back a week from today. That blog will be more entertaining than this one, I promise. Besides my birthday on Wednesday, I know I'll be out for dinner a few nights, there's that wrestling show I'll be going to (if that one guy does not further anger me, that is), and overall there will just be a lot more to write about.
