The Blog Where I Say That Brandy Isn't Always A Fine Girl

Don't worry, I'll explain why I got pretty mad at some random girl named Brandy, who was not a fine girl; in this case, the Looking Glass song lied to me. In fact, I actually cussed out that girl Brandy! Those of you who know me personally will know it's highly unusual for me to get so mad that I'd cuss out someone to their face. By the end of this blog you'll see why I got so riled up.

Anyway, I'm actually splitting this blog into two. The fact that my mom had her friend down here from Illinois and they went out to dinner a few times (and I was happy to tag along for the free meals!) is one reason for that. This blog will be all about my Saturday. Tomorrow afternoon I'll post what else I did this preceding week.

Saturday, this was quite the day. It didn't start until the evening, when I ended up in Sanford to see my first pro wrestling show live since late October. Really, a big draw for me was seeing some people I know in the crowd. That's not to downplay the wrestlers in the ring, as at that show there are many talented guys I enjoy watching; things are just different from how I was a huge fan back in the day. As for that show, the attendance wasn't as great as it used to be; I won't get into speculating as to why that's the case, but on this night I know that some things bugged me, such as someone running the sound system who did not know how to have it leveled compared to the ring announcer's mike, or the fact that you should have the sound system turned off during the matches to prevent weird feedback from it... but it still was nice to see some people for the first time in awhile and the show overall was entertaining.

Oh, and while I was there I found out that pro wrestler Christina Von Eerie (if you watch TNA wrestler, she was Toxxin; her real-life fiance Jesse Neal left that promotion recently and I presume she also left there for that reason) makes some delicious sprinkle cookies and fudge. She and Jesse Neal were there to sign autographs. As there was no regular concession stand there (a rather huge glaring error; even the worst wrestling shows I've ever attended had one of those) I had to get some Poweraid from the vending machine and thus I got something to eat from Christina's treats; she had sprinkle cookies and fudge available and I probably looked like a fatass but I had several of those during the show, as they were so damn good. Oh, and while I was there I did hear the news about Whitney Houston from someone. I can't say I was a big fan of her songs but she had quite a voice and it was pretty sad she had such problems with substance abuse. She had a lot of success and imagine how much bigger it would have been if not for those issues.

AND, one last thing from the show: during intermission they played a Backstreet Boys song! I have no idea why and I think that's a first from all the shows I've attended throughout the years. And don't say anything about how I knew such trivia; some ladies I know used to be huge fans of them.

After the show I went straight to some place I hadn't been to since November, even though it was rather chilly on that night: that's right, MAKO'S! I'm sure everyone knows by now what that is, but if you're relatively new, it's a downtown Orlando nightclub that's a great place to party as they do a lot of wacky things and have the lady employees not wearing a lot of clothes and it's loud music and dancing and all that.

So, I ended up at Mako's and here's what went down there:

* I'm not going in chronological order this time: I have to tell the first part of the story of the girl I mentioned in the beginning of this blog: that's right, Brandy. She wasn't a fine girl. What happened was that I was in the dance floor area and suddenly a random drunken blonde asked me to get her a Bacardi & Coke and I would have to pay for it but I would get the treat of dancing with her once I get her the drink. It took me a few minutes as it was busy there but once I got back I had trouble finding her at first but once I did she at first wanted me to get her a “new” drink (whatever that meant) then she played dumb and claimed I had never been asked to get her a drink! No kidding. She still took the drink but instead of drinking it herself she gave it to a random guy. I wasn't too happy about that. And believe it or not that wasn't my last interaction with Brandy...

* Anyhow, it was largely the usual there. There were some wacky games played, for instance. However, there was a jolly fat guy there wearing a crown. He got to have a saddle put on his large stomach as two random girls rode him for the prize of the girls sharing a bottle of champagne! That saddle was used a little earlier for another girl celebrating an anniversary; she rode the back of a male employee

* A random girl who looked to be in her 30's showed up and in the short time she was there, she bumped and grinded with a guy who had to be in his 50's or 60's, passionately kissed a random girl, tried to dance but appeared to be too intoxicated to do that well, and was fortunate to have a random guy find her and take care of her, which revolved around them making out and literally playing grab-ass. They vanished soon after that, and to be blunt, that guy probably got the easiest booty call he'll ever find! No way would I have wanted any of her; besides her being a nasty drunk, she was a smoker, and kissing someone with that breath... no thanx.

* So, I ended up running into Brandy again. I swear this is true... she wanted me to get her a drink! I tried to be patient and explain to her what happened the last time I tried to get her a drink, but she was so out of it, I might as well have been trying to speak Klingon to her. Finally, I got fed up with her and walked away, but not before telling her to “f*** off”! If you know me personally you'll realize me yelling at someone like that is a really out of character thing for me. I just got fed up with her drunken stupidity and she needed to be told off. Thankfully I did not see her again the rest of the night.

* Sad to say that wasn't the only drunken buffoonery I saw on this night. A cute young bartender had a hell of a time getting a wasted fool to pay for his drink, as he claimed someone else had his credit card, and he finally was convinced that he indeed had his card on him... I wanted to punch some sense into that clown! As I felt bad for the lady I got more than one drink from her and she proved to be a pretty nice person too.

* Then, two cops went into the men's room and they threw out two guys from there; I had no idea why but I'm sure they did something so stupid it required them to have to come off the street and throw them out.

* But hey, I still had a good time there. Aside from the usual fun with all the members of the opposite sex around and the quality soundtrack, I wasn't going to let one dumb female get me down. Heck, I had a short conversation with a rather attractive brunette about what she was wearing; long story. I wish I could have had more than a short chat with her, but at least she was a cool lady who didn't act stupid.

The next time I'll be back there, I don't know. I hope it isn't so long before I make my return.

Like I said, tomorrow I'll return with another blog.
